Bluebird has been building enterprise handhelds in Korea since 1995, and the range is worth knowing because it reaches further up the ruggedness scale than most alternatives at the same money. The S series in particular is specified where devices are genuinely being dropped rather than merely carried — the S70 is rated for three-metre drops, which is a different class of protection from a consumer phone in a case.
