Mindware takes interns from colleges and institutes across India into a six-month programme at our Dwarka, New Delhi counter — in barcode, RFID and thermal printing, a field almost no syllabus covers and almost every industry uses. The internship is unpaid. A student who completes it well is absorbed into a permanent post.
What the six months actually contain
Not filing, and not watching. An intern here is on the bench and in the van from the first month, beside an engineer, on customer equipment. By the end they have opened printers most graduates have never seen inside, and they can explain to a warehouse manager why a label scans on paper and fails on a frozen carton.
- Thermal printing from the inside — printheads, platens, sensors, ribbon chemistry, and why print quality fails the way it does.
- A dozen principals in one workshop: TSC, Zebra, Honeywell, SATO, Citizen, Toshiba Tec, Godex, Argox, Evolis, Entrust and more.
- RFID readers and tags, barcode scanners, mobile computers, ID card printers and label converting machinery.
- For software and design students: Flutter apps that drive real hardware, React and Node, deployment on AWS or a VPS, and interface design for people wearing gloves in a warehouse.
- Customers of every size, from a single-counter shop to plants running fifty thousand printers under maintenance contract.
The terms, in plain words
The internship is unpaid, and it runs for six months. We would rather an institute knew that in the first ten seconds than after a placement drive. What it carries instead is real work rather than shadowing, a certificate that says what the student actually did, and a reference from a working service centre.
Complete it well and Mindware absorbs you into a permanent post. That is the purpose of the programme. We are not filling a stipend line or a compliance requirement — we are recruiting the colleagues we will still have in ten years, and taking interns is how we have done it for years.
Attendance, project reports, log books, a mentor named for the university file and a completion certificate on letterhead — whatever your programme requires, tell us on the form and it is arranged. We have done this for institute paperwork before.
Where the student would be
MINDWARE
S-4, Pankaj Plaza, Plot No. 7, Pocket-7,
Sector-12, Dwarka, New Delhi, India - 110078
Hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Sunday off. The internship is on site for all six months — there is no work-from-home option, because the hardware the student is learning on is here.
A short walk from Dwarka Sector-12 metro station, on the Blue Line, which puts most of west and central Delhi within a straightforward commute. A student coming from outside the NCR has to arrange to live here for the six months — say so on the form and we will tell you what the area costs and which colonies students usually take a room in.
