Mindware has supplied and serviced barcode printing hardware since 1997. We are an independent service provider — not tied to any single manufacturer — which means we recommend the printer that suits your job rather than the one we are contracted to push.

What we service

Thermal transfer and direct thermal label printers across every range we supply, from 2-inch desktop units to 6-inch industrial and RFID machines.

TSC factory-trained engineers

Our service engineers have completed factory service training with TSC in Taiwan on two separate occasions, covering the full TSC printer range listed above. That training is why TSC repairs are handled on our own bench rather than shipped elsewhere — and it applies to every TSC and TSC Printronix model we sell.

Service and repair

• Installation and commissioning — driver setup, media calibration, label template configuration and network integration.
• Printhead replacement — we stock printheads for TSC, Citizen and Godex ranges, so a burnt-out head is usually a same-week fix rather than a month-long import wait.
• Repair and refurbishment — platen rollers, sensors, cutters, ribbon drives and mainboards.
• Calibration and print quality — gap and black-mark sensor calibration, darkness and speed tuning, barcode verification.

Annual maintenance contracts

We keep more than 50,000 printers running under AMC. A contract covers scheduled preventive servicing, printhead and platen inspection, and priority response when a machine goes down — because on a despatch line a dead printer stops everything behind it.

AMC is available whether or not you bought the printer from us.

Labels and ribbons we manufacture

We make the consumables as well as sell the hardware, and test them on the printers we supply:

• Thermal transfer ribbons — wax for paper labels, wax/resin for semi-gloss and light synthetics, resin for polyester and chemical-resistant applications.
• Label stock — direct thermal, thermal transfer paper, polyester, polypropylene, Tyvek, cable-tie and jewellery tags.
• Custom conversion — die-cut shapes, core sizes, roll diameters and pre-printed variable data.

Barcode and RFID

Alongside barcode label printing we supply RFID-capable printers including the TSC Printronix T82R, T830 and the T8204e / T8304e / T8306e ODV-2D range, which validates every barcode as it prints.
