And it should be fitted by us, or by a trained engineer. Honestly said: a print head is a few microns of ceramic on a static-sensitive board. Over-tightened, mis-seated, touched with a bare hand, or fitted with the burn setting left where the worn head needed it, a new head can be finished inside its first hour — and there is no warranty anywhere to fall back on when it is. Bring the printer to Dwarka and we will fit it, set the darkness and the ribbon path, and test-print it. If you are too far and want to fit it yourself, ask us first and we will send the torque, the settings and the pictures for your model, free.
How to make a print head last

The 80 mm receipt printer for a single billing counter: kirana and general stores, chemists, restaurants, salons and any GST invoice printed at a desktop till. USB to the billing PC, ESC/POS command set, so it works with Marg, Busy, Tally, Vyapar, GoFrugal, Petpooja and effectively every Indian billing package without hunting for a driver.

Mynds 79A
Adds an RS-232 serial port. Buy this one when the printer has to hang off an existing POS terminal, a weighing scale, or a piece of billing hardware old enough that serial is the only port it offers — which describes a great many working Indian counters and is not a reason to replace them.

Mynds 79B
Ethernet, so more than one billing station can print to it and so it can sit where the receipt is needed rather than where the computer is. This is the kitchen order ticket printer in a restaurant — the till is at the front, the printer is at the pass, and one cable joins them.

Mynds 79C
The full-connectivity variant: prints from a phone or tablet over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi as well as over cable. This is the one for mobile billing on a shop floor, for a delivery counter with no room for a PC, and for restaurants running the whole till on an Android tablet — which is now most new ones.

An annual maintenance contract usually costs less than call-outs if the machine sits on a production line.

What free support depends on. Free service is provided with the backing of the principal. Where the manufacturer declines a claim — physical or liquid damage, repairs attempted elsewhere, or a printer outside its warranty period — we cannot carry that cost ourselves, and the work becomes chargeable. We will tell you before any work starts and quote it first, so nothing is a surprise.
A thermal printhead is ceramic where it counts. One static discharge, one over-tightened screw, or a head seated a fraction out of square, and it either dies on the bench or wears unevenly and fails months early. If you want it done right the first time, have it fitted by us.
In India you can buy this head only from Mindware, New Delhi. We import every head ourselves, which is why the part is genuine and the price is the best you will find. Send us the printer model and serial number, or a photograph of the label inside the lid, and we will confirm the exact head before you order.
Need installation? Bring the printer to Mindware, Dwarka Sector-12, New Delhi and get it fitted by certified engineers — fitted, calibrated and tested on your own labels before it leaves the counter.

Print heads, labels and ribbons are on the shelf — most repairs are looked at the day they arrive.
Most barcode printer faults are settings, not hardware, and settings can be fixed down a wire. We take over the machine with AnyDesk, or walk you through it on a video call, and in most cases the printer is printing again before the call ends. India or overseas — a printer in Dubai, Lagos or Colombo is the same job as one in Dwarka.
We also ship labels and ribbons worldwide, cut to your size, core and width — which is the other half of what we do all day.
And if your system can only send a file, we make PRN files to order — your label written in the language the printer itself reads, for TSC, Zebra, Godex, Citizen, SATO, Toshiba and more. A paid job, quoted before we start.
