Slitting, hemming, coating and finishing all happen on our own line in New Delhi, which is why we can hold export-quality taffeta in stock, cut to the width you actually print on, and turn a repeat order round in days rather than weeks.

Export-quality taffeta for the garment industry

Soft-feel woven taffeta for care labels, content labels, size tabs and brand labels — the grade garment exporters are held to by their overseas buyers. Consistent whiteness, clean cut edges that do not fray in the wash, and a surface that takes a washcare ribbon without patching or flaking.

Taffeta printing to your artwork

Send the artwork and we print it: care symbols, fibre composition, country of origin, brand marks, barcodes and size runs, in single or multiple colours. Printed taffeta is supplied on rolls, fan-folded or cut and folded ready for the sewing line.

Every width, and blank rolls too

Blank taffeta on rolls for exporters who print in-house on their own thermal transfer printers, slit to any width from narrow size tabs upward, in the roll lengths and core sizes your printer takes. Pair it with Mynds 50 Washcare ribbon and the print survives industrial laundering.

Every taffeta variant, cut on our own line

All of it converted in New Delhi and all of it branded Mynds — slit to any width from a narrow size tab upward, in white, off-white, black or dyed to a shade you specify, supplied blank on rolls or printed to your artwork.

Polyester satin

The soft, lustrous base most brand and size labels are printed on. Takes fine detail and small type, and is the default where the label touches skin at a collar or waistband.

Polyester taffeta

The workhorse care-label base. Crisper than satin, dimensionally stable through industrial laundering, and the cheapest per metre of anything that survives a hundred washes.

Nylon taffeta

Softer hand than polyester with better drape, specified by buyers for premium garments and for anything worn next to the skin.

Soft and ultra-soft finishes

The same base cloths run through a softening finish. Ordered when the buyer's specification says "no scratch" — most commonly for babywear, innerwear and activewear.

Cotton and cotton-blend tape

For organic, natural-fibre and heritage-branded ranges where a synthetic label contradicts the story the garment is telling.

Herringbone and twill tape

Heavier woven tapes for outerwear, workwear, denim and bags — hanger loops, brand tabs and the kind of label that is part of the garment's look rather than hidden inside it.

Recycled polyester (rPET)

Increasingly not optional. European and American buyers now write recycled content into the label specification itself, and a conventional polyester label can fail an otherwise compliant sustainable range.

Non-woven and tear-resistant

For laundry tags, hospitality linen and industrial workwear, where the label has to survive commercial washing at temperatures that destroy a woven care label.

Ask for a sample cut before you order. Taffeta is judged by hand-feel and by how it survives a wash test, and neither of those travels well in a photograph — which is also why we would rather post you a swatch than argue about a specification.

Buy the printer here and we take responsibility for keeping it working. Installation, configuration, fault diagnosis and warranty repair are handled by our own engineers at no charge, backed by the principal — the manufacturer. You raise it with us; we deal with the manufacturer.

Bought elsewhere — paid service

We service printers bought from any other source too, as chargeable work through the TSC Printers Paid Service Centre, run by Mindware — diagnosis, repair, printhead replacement and calibration, quoted before we start. An annual maintenance contract usually costs less than call-outs if the machine sits on a production line.

What free support depends on. Free service is provided with the backing of the principal. Where the manufacturer declines a claim — physical or liquid damage, repairs attempted elsewhere, or a printer outside its warranty period — we cannot carry that cost ourselves, and the work becomes chargeable. We will tell you before any work starts and quote it first, so nothing is a surprise.

Remote printer support — anywhere in the world

Most barcode printer faults are settings, not hardware, and settings can be fixed down a wire. We take over the machine with AnyDesk, or walk you through it on a video call, and in most cases the printer is printing again before the call ends. India or overseas — a printer in Dubai, Lagos or Colombo is the same job as one in Dwarka.

We also ship labels and ribbons worldwide, cut to your size, core and width — which is the other half of what we do all day.
