Description

Chemical Resistant Thermal Transfer Ribbons are particularly made for applications, which ensure superior print quality and life under difficult chemical settings. These ribbons find much value for use in manufacturing, health, and logistics sectors where a label’s integrity is much wanted.

Key Features:

Chemical Resistance: resists contact with solvents, oils, and other severe chemicals. The incidence of smudging or smearing would not be apparent.

Quality Printing: clear images and barcodes with high quality are printed crisply clear. The readability and accuracy of the print are thus assured.

Compatibility Versatile: Uses on various substrates made of synthetic or paper materials compatible with most types of thermal transfer printers.

Wear and scratch resistance, so the labels do not break up in service.

Rip resistance: exclusively suitable for high-temperature ranges because of their high resilience

Mynds thermal transfer ribbons — made by us, in New Delhi

Mynds is our own ribbon brand, coated and converted at our New Delhi plant. Because we cut the rolls ourselves, we hold roughly 150 variants across the four grades — every common width and length, both core sizes, and both wind directions — so the size your printer takes is a stock item rather than a six-week import.

Wax

Mynds 20 Wax

The everyday ribbon. High-sensitivity wax that prints clean, dense barcodes at speed and at low darkness settings, which is easier on the printhead and cheaper per label than pushing a harder ribbon.

Prints on: Uncoated and matt-coated paper labels.

Used for: Carton and shipping labels, warehouse and inventory labels, retail price and MRP labels, courier and e-commerce manifests, general despatch.

Resin

Mynds 30 Resin

A step up in durability where a wax print would smudge. Holds its edge under handling, moisture and light abrasion, and prints sharp enough for small text and dense 2D codes.

Prints on: Gloss-coated paper and entry-level synthetic labels.

Used for: Cold-chain and frozen goods, logistics labels handled repeatedly, chemical and lubricant packaging, labels that live outdoors for weeks rather than hours.

Premium resin

Mynds 40 Premium Resin

Full resin for labels that have to survive the product they are stuck to. Resists solvents, oils, heat and sustained abrasion, and stays scannable after the kind of treatment that destroys a wax print in minutes.

Prints on: Polyester, polypropylene, polyimide, vinyl and other synthetic label stock.

Used for: Asset and equipment tags, electronics and PCB labels, automotive components, pharmaceutical and laboratory labelling, drum and chemical containers, outdoor and rating plates.

Washcare / textile

Mynds 50 Washcare

Built for garment care labels and nothing else. Bonds to woven textile tape and survives industrial laundering, repeated domestic wash cycles, dry cleaning solvent and pressing — which is the whole test a care label has to pass.

Prints on: Satin, taffeta, nylon and polyester woven tapes.

Used for: Care and content labels, size and brand labels, wash instruction labels, laundry and hospitality tagging, garment export documentation labels.

Converted for flat-head and near-edge printers

Flat-head printers

Desktop and industrial thermal transfer label printers, where the printhead sits flat against the platen. Standard label printing across warehousing, retail and manufacturing.

Near-edge TTO printers

Thermal transfer overprinters mounted on packaging and filling lines, printing directly onto film and laminate at line speed. Near-edge machines need a different ribbon construction from flat-head printers — ordering flat-head ribbon for a TTO coder is the most common consumables mistake we see.

Tell us the make, model and the ribbon size currently fitted, and we will match it. If your machine is not on this list it almost certainly still takes a ribbon we cut.

Not sure which grade you need? Send us the label material and what the label has to survive — heat, solvent, freezing, laundering — and we will send a sample roll to test on your own printer before you commit to a quantity.

Buying from Mindware

India's biggest barcode and RFID solutions provider — 29 years, 500,000+ customers and 50,000+ printers under maintenance contract. Zebra, TSC, Godex and Citizen each build printers; we are independent of all of them, so we recommend the printer that fits your job, manufacture the labels and ribbons it runs on, and keep it working afterwards.

Our own service centre

We are an independent service centre for TSC and Zebra printers — installation, repair, printhead replacement and calibration handled in-house. You are not routed to a third party when something goes wrong.

50,000+ printers under maintenance

Annual maintenance contracts covering preventive servicing and priority support, so a failed printer does not stop your despatch line.

Labels and ribbons we make ourselves

We manufacture thermal transfer ribbons and label stock, tested on these printers before it ships — wax, wax/resin and resin ribbons, paper, polyester and synthetic labels, matched to your printer and application.

29 years, since 1997

Supplying barcode printing hardware since 1997 to more than 500,000 customers across India. Buying from Mindware means the printer, the consumables and the people who fix it all come from one place.

Service and support: what is free and what is charged

Bought from Mindware — support and service free of cost

Buy the printer here and we take responsibility for keeping it working. Installation, configuration, fault diagnosis and warranty repair are handled by our own engineers at no charge, backed by the principal — the manufacturer. You raise it with us; we deal with the manufacturer.

Bought elsewhere — paid service

We service printers bought from any other source too, as chargeable work through the TSC Printers Paid Service Centre, run by Mindware — diagnosis, repair, printhead replacement and calibration, quoted before we start. An annual maintenance contract usually costs less than call-outs if the machine sits on a production line.

Printer not working? For paid service, send us the problem on WhatsApp.

Send a photo of the print quality or the error on screen, the make and model, and what changed just before it started. That is usually enough for our engineers to tell you whether it is a setting, a consumable or a fault — before anyone books a visit.

What free support depends on. Free service is provided with the backing of the principal. Where the manufacturer declines a claim — physical or liquid damage, repairs attempted elsewhere, or a printer outside its warranty period — we cannot carry that cost ourselves, and the work becomes chargeable. We will tell you before any work starts and quote it first, so nothing is a surprise.
