The Printronix T8204e ODV-2D RFID Label Printer is the ultimate enterprise-level solution for mission-critical industrial applications. Combining high-speed thermal printing, integrated RFID encoding, and real-time 1D/2D barcode verification, this “all-in-one” workhorse ensures that every label produced is 100% accurate and compliant, virtually eliminating costly chargebacks and shipping errors.
Key Features
Integrated ODV-2D Verification: Automatically scans, grades, and validates every 1D and 2D barcode as it prints. If a barcode fails to meet ISO standards, the printer overstrikes the bad label and automatically reprints a new one.
RFID Encoding: Supports high-performance UHF RFID encoding (EPC Gen2 V2), allowing you to print, verify, and encode RFID tags in a single pass.
Rugged Industrial Build: Features a heavy-duty die-cast aluminum frame and metal doors designed for 24/7 operation in harsh environments, including sub-zero temperatures.
High-Speed Productivity: Capable of printing at speeds up to 14 inches per second (ips) with a 203 dpi resolution.
Advanced Connectivity: Comes standard with Ethernet, USB, and Serial interfaces, with optional Wi-Fi (802.11ac) and Bluetooth connectivity.
User-Friendly Interface: Includes a 3.5-inch full-color display with intuitive navigation keys and a self-help wizard for easy setup.

RFID labels and tags for exporters
Overseas retailers increasingly require every carton and every garment to carry an encoded RFID tag before the shipment will be accepted. We supply the tags, encode them, print them and verify them — so an export order does not sit at the door because the tags failed a read test.
Apparel and hangtag RFID
UHF inlays converted into hangtags, care labels, sew-in labels and price tickets for garment exporters, encoded with the serialised identity your buyer specifies and printed with the same barcode and human-readable data in one pass.
Carton, pallet and logistics tags
Larger UHF labels for shipping cartons and pallets, chosen for read range on the packaging material you actually use — cardboard, shrink-wrapped stacks and metallised film all behave differently, and the inlay has to be matched to them rather than assumed.
Encoded, printed and verified
Every tag is written, read back and checked before it leaves us, and dead inlays are removed from the roll rather than passed on. You receive a verified quantity, not a nominal one.
Printers, encoders and readers too
If you would rather encode in-house we supply and commission the RFID printers to do it — including the TSC and TSC Printronix RFID range — with the label stock, the software and the training to run them.
Buying from Mindware
India's biggest barcode and RFID solutions provider — 29 years, 500,000+ customers and 50,000+ printers under maintenance contract. Zebra, TSC, Godex and Citizen each build printers; we are independent of all of them, so we recommend the printer that fits your job, manufacture the labels and ribbons it runs on, and keep it working afterwards.
TSC & Printronix certified service centre in India
TSC Auto ID Technology and Printronix Auto ID Technology have certified Mindware for after service and repair of TSC and Printronix barcode printers — Certificate of Training, issued 2019 and signed by TSC's Director of Application Engineering. The certificate is reproduced below.
TSC factory-trained engineers
Our service engineers have completed factory service training with TSC in Taiwan on two separate occasions, covering the full TSC printer range. Your printer is serviced by people trained by the people who built it.
Our own service centre
We are an independent service centre for TSC and Zebra printers — installation, repair, printhead replacement and calibration handled in-house. You are not routed to a third party when something goes wrong.
50,000+ printers under maintenance
Annual maintenance contracts covering preventive servicing and priority support, so a failed printer does not stop your despatch line.
Labels and ribbons we make ourselves
We manufacture thermal transfer ribbons and label stock, tested on these printers before it ships — wax, wax/resin and resin ribbons, paper, polyester and synthetic labels, matched to your printer and application.
29 years, since 1997
Supplying barcode printing hardware since 1997 to more than 500,000 customers across India. Buying from Mindware means the printer, the consumables and the people who fix it all come from one place.
Certificate of Training
TSC Auto ID Technology Co., Ltd. & Printronix Auto ID Technology Co., Ltd. certify that Mindware has successfully completed the training programme for after service and repair of TSC and Printronix barcode printers. Signed by Phil Liu, Director of Application Engineering, TSC Auto ID Technology Co., Ltd. Date of issue: April 26, 2019.
Service and support: what is free and what is charged
Bought from Mindware — support and service free of cost
Buy the printer here and we take responsibility for keeping it working. Installation, configuration, fault diagnosis and warranty repair are handled by our own engineers at no charge, backed by the principal — the manufacturer. You raise it with us; we deal with the manufacturer.
Bought elsewhere — paid service
We service printers bought from any other source too, as chargeable work through the TSC Printers Paid Service Centre, run by Mindware — diagnosis, repair, printhead replacement and calibration, quoted before we start. An annual maintenance contract usually costs less than call-outs if the machine sits on a production line.
Printer not working? For paid service, send us the problem on WhatsApp.
Send a photo of the print quality or the error on screen, the make and model, and what changed just before it started. That is usually enough for our engineers to tell you whether it is a setting, a consumable or a fault — before anyone books a visit.
What free support depends on.
Free service is provided with the backing of the principal. Where the manufacturer declines a claim — physical or liquid damage, repairs attempted elsewhere, or a printer outside its warranty period — we cannot carry that cost ourselves, and the work becomes chargeable. We will tell you before any work starts and quote it first, so nothing is a surprise.
